A review, as a rhyme...

As usual I will be writing this review in rhyme, and today I am looking at The Fratellis In Your Own Sweet Time. This is album number 5 for the band, and as usual it is absolutely grand! The Fratellis are a group that I grew up listening to, back when I was 15 and thought I was cool listening to music off Youtube. But the bands new album is quite different to their original work, instead they've taken a bit of an American 50/60s quirk. My favourite tracks on the album are 'Laughing Gas' and 'Indestructible', which both carry beats that are infectiously enjoyable. I think as a whole the album is a bit Scissor Sisters-esque, especially the first single released, 'The Next Time We Wed'.
As much as I enjoyed the album, it's not quite Costello Music, which after 12 years is still one of my top picks. None the less, I love that they are trying something new, so for that I say Fratellis good on you!
